You’re invited to see the “Christian Symbols of Christmas” tabletop displays in the Hedgley Fellowship Hall on Sundays during December! You can see a photo album of the displays below, but visit them in person if you can!

Happy Birthday to our members celebrating a birthday in December 2024!

We invite everyone to support the Winston-Salem State University Singing Rams at their Annual Holiday Concert “Great Joy!” It will be held on Sunday, December 8 at 4:00 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church (646 West Fifth Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101)!

During October and November 2024, First Baptist Church engaged The Center for Congregational Health in interactive sessions to assist in our strategic planning and growth for the future. Pictures from this session can be found on our Flickr site.

We will celebrate “The Hanging of the Greens” at First Baptist Church on Sunday, November 24! This special service will be held immediately following our Morning Worship Service. This is a service where we will adorn the Sanctuary with Advent and Christmas decorations, accompanied by special readings and music. Click the image above to view the program! Media

Operation InAsMuch returned for returned to First Baptist for its autumn outreach event with giveaways, food, the Annie Alexander Health Fair, and fellowship. Youth Church was held this week with the lesson “Hope in Jesus.” Attendees also participated in youth Christmas tabling activities in the Hedgley Fellowship Hall and collected donations for the 2024 Penny Campaign for Samaritan Ministries.
